Uploading your T3 Web Project using Dreamweaver

This short tutorial assumes basic knowledge of Macromedia Dreamweaver and illustrates how to use it to upload your project.

1. Let's assume that your files are already set up on your local machine and you are viewing the site in Dreamweaver.

For this example, our team is B0001505 and below is our site.

2. From the "Site" menu in Dreamweaver select "Manage Sites..." as in the picture below.

3. When the Manage Sites window opens, choose your site and click on "Edit...". There might be more than one site on your computer.

4. In the "Advanced" tab set the "Local Info" to the folder on your computer with your team's work.

5. Click on "Remote Info" in the Category list on the left. Set the "Access" type to WebDAV.

6. Next, click on the "Settings..." button. This is where you will put your login information.
For URL: put http://t3.pacific.edu/DAVdocs/TeamId
where you should substitue YOUR Team Id for "TeamId".
For Username: put your Team Id
For Password: put your Team Password
Click on OK and then again click on OK in the Site Definition window.

7. This will take you back to the "Manage Sites" window. Click on "Done."

8. Now, back to your files... You can click on the entire site and then the blue "up" icon to upload the site as in the picture below or you can click on just the files that you want to upload. You should see some messages from Dreamweaver letting you know that the files are uploading.

9. Once you are done uploading, you can open a web browser and view your site online.

The Web Address of your site is: http://t3.pacific.edu/teams/TeamId
Where you substitute your team id for "TeamId."
